My name is Hiroto Aramaki, and I serve as Secretary General at Dream Sustainability Japan. In this role, I support each of our organizational departments by overseeing administrative operations, coordinating interdepartmental collaboration, and managing grant-funded initiatives. My mission is to act as a foundation for our team—working behind the scenes to ensure that each project runs smoothly and achieves its fullest potential. I see it as my responsibility to create the conditions that allow our dedicated members, who are passionate about international cooperation and social contribution, to bring their ideas to life.

With flexibility and strategy at the core of my approach, I strive every day to strengthen our internal systems and build a more sustainable foundation for our activities. Moving forward, I remain committed to supporting the future of our organization from behind the scenes—quietly but powerfully.

I first became involved with this organization when it was still a student-led group—the predecessor to its current form. What initially drew me in was the strong sense of purpose behind the vision of our representative, Seita Hakoda. I felt that, even if I couldn’t do something big, there had to be something I could do. With that in mind, I began supporting the team in whatever way I could, however small.

Through my experiences abroad during high school, and now as a student at a university in the United States, one truth has become increasingly clear to me: the value of global education. I’ve come to believe that Japan must do more to nurture the ability to embrace diversity and engage in respectful dialogue across cultures. That conviction is what motivates me to dedicate myself even more deeply to the mission of this organization.
